Security Camera Detects Landlord in Tenants Bedroom With Another Man

Summary: A married couple in Colorado Springs was shocked to find their landlord in their bedroom having sex with another man without permission.

It should be safe to assume when you rent an apartment, condo, or other residence that the landlord will not enter your home without notifying you. A Colorado couple has learned the hard way that you can’t assume this after discovering their landlord in their apartment.

Recently married couple Logan Pierce and Mikaela DiGiulio had their apartment outfitted with a motion detection security camera system. Their camera discovered the landlord inside the tenant’s bedroom having sex with another man.

Landlord Carlos Quijada is facing felony charges for illegally entering the Colorado Springs residence of Pierce and DiGiulio. The couple was not home but had installed a four-camera Nest security system to guard their place. Upon entering the residence, Pierce was notified on his phone that a noise had been detected in the apartment.

This prompted Pierce to check the camera feeds where he spotted Quijada and another man in his room. The footage captures the men removing their pants immediately upon entering the room and climbing onto the bed. After six-minutes of oral and anal sex, the other man picks up a dress belonging to DiGuilio from the laundry pile on the floor to wipe off his genitals. Quijada uses another piece of clothing to attempt to clean off a lubricant mark left on the green bed sheet.

Pierce confirmed that the dress used by the other man was a dress that his wife worn at their wedding ceremony in March.

The married couple found the apartment through Craigslist and had been renting for $1,100 a month since July. They immediately vacated the premises after discovering the unpleasant details of what had occurred in their bed and are staying at a Super 8 hotel where DiGiulio works. Pierce is employed part-time.

The Colorado Springs Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Quijada for criminal trespassing and misdemeanor obscenity.

Do you think Pierce and DiGiulio should be awarded a payment from Quijada for violating their possessions? Have you ever experienced something similar? Tell us in the comments below.
