A Tennessee man was dying for some Taco Bell food. He asked his mother for her debit card so he could go get some food but she said no. He acted out for being denied Taco bell by striking her in the head with a hockey stick.
The police report states that 22-year-old Logan Badgely fought with his mother Saturday night “because he wanted her debit card so he could go get some Taco Bell.” She informed her son that “there was no money in the account.” Badgley did not listen and “took the card anyway and left the residence.”

Badgley returned to their Lakeland home, a Memphis suburb, shortly after. She reported to police that he was angry that the debit card could not pay for his food. He confronted her in the garage where he “grabbed his hockey stick” to strike her across the left side of her head. The hit knocked her to the ground and lost consciousness.
Badgley confessed to police that he “consumed a few alcoholic beverages during the night.” Other than that, he “did not want to provide his side of the story.” The hockey stick was taken as evidence and the police report noted that she suffered a “laceration to the head.”

He was charged with felony aggravated assault. He was booked into the Shelby County jail on $5000 bond. He is still locked up until his November 1 court date.
