Summary: Chris Brown was arrested for allegedly pulling a gun on a model in his house, but is this a case of Brown being Brown or Brown being targeted?

Chris Brown continues to get into Chris Brown-ish trouble. On August 30, he was arrested at his mansion when a model, Baylee Curran, said the Grammy winner pulled a gun on her.

According to Us Weekly, police arrived Tuesday morning at Brown’s home in Tarzana, California on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Curran said she was at a party at Brown’s place when he brandished a gun and told her to get out of his house. Curran was allegedly kicked out because she was looking at a piece of jewelry.

While the police were still surrounding his home, Brown posted videos of himself complaining about the police on Instagram.

“I’m innocent. F–k errbody. … I ain’t did s–t, I ain’t gon’ do s–t, and it’s always gon’ be f–k the police,” Brown said in his since deleted posts.

Since the arrest made headlines, Us Weekly published modeling pictures of Curran that they described as showing her “saucy side.” In the pictures, she wears either a bikini or short shorts and poses in the dessert. Whether or not the cheesy pictures surfaced to shame Curran or bring her fame are unknown.

However, Curran has not been shying away from the spotlight. Since Brown’s arrest, she has spoken to media outlets such as Extra and E! News about the alleged ordeal.

“Chris came in, pulled out his gun and said, ‘I’m getting so sick of you people,’ pointed the gun at me, [and told me] to get the eff out of the house,” Curran said to Extra.

Curran has denied that she made the claims for publicity and said that she is already famous.

“I don’t lie, I would never lie. Why, for what? I don’t need the publicity,” Curran told Extra.” I’m already kind of well known being Miss California Regional, modeling, upcoming actress, so if I was doing this for fame or something of that sort, why would I do it this way?”

Brown’s long time lawyer, Mark Geragos, denied Curran’s claims and took to Twitter to defend Brown.

“Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy,” Geragos wrote on social media.

Late Tuesday night, Brown was released on $250,000 bail.

Since the arrest, TMZ reported that Curran’s ex-roommate accused her of making a false accusation of assault in the past, and the site published a damning text that Curran allegedly sent to her “friend” that made it appear she was setting up Brown, who has a history of violent behavior.

“Hey safari don’t you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his (expletive) up. Lol come get me,” the non-punctuated text said.

Its authenticity is still being verified.
