Jeffrey Epstein is known for many things including his “Orgy Island” and 2008 conviction of soliciting sex from an underage girl in exchange for settlements paid to several alleged victims.

A celebrity with deep connections to Epstein’s shady past is former president Bill Clinton. Clinton has been recorded as Epstein’s most frequent and famous passenger to his private island in U.S. Virgin Islands with at least 26 trips between 2001 and 2003. Epstein has also donated a substantial amount of money to the Clinton Foundation even after his conviction.

It has been expected that Trump would use this knowledge as a way of destroying Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign but a new lawsuit has surfaced naming Donald Trump as a rapist as well. The allegation claims that Epstein and Trump raped the girl when she was 13 at one of Epstein’s parties. The first lawsuit filed by the unknown woman was dismissed because it lacked a claim. The phone number and address given on the lawsuit do not match the woman’s name. The second lawsuit claims that Trump’s denial is defamation.
Either way with ties to Epstein floating around, it is unlikely that Trump will want to use the Epstein Clinton connection as a way of derailing Clinton’s campaign.
