MacKay understands the importance of Canada being a strong player in the global economy: “I have been honored to serve the Canadian people for many years in the House of Commons and Government of Canada, and the time is right for me to transition to the private sector and begin the next phase of my career.” He is still considering a bid for Conservative leader in the future. “I’m keeping a close eye on things across the country and it’s never far from my mind,” MacKay said, according to The Canadian Press.

Baker & McKenzie has been named the strongest law firm brand in the world for the sixth year. While they are headquartered in Chicago, they have 77 offices throughout the world and around 12,000 employees.
