Pork roll factory worker fired for farting

What
Where

No clue what the inside of a pork roll factory smells like, but apparently farts make the working environment unbearable. In October, we reported that a woman filed a lawsuit for her husband claiming the factory where they both worked fired him for flatulence. The suit claims the company violated the Americans with Disabilities Act and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. Priest sued by parishioners for embezzling money for gay sex romps

New York parishioners were unhappy that their Catholic priest was using their collection money to pay for a gay BDSM master. Rev. Peter Miqueli was sued along with his church and the New York Archdiocese for $1 million. Church goers claim Miqueli was a gay sex slave and paid $1,000 for each sex session with his BDSM master. They say he also used church money to buy a house and to pay for his master’s apartment. Casino wins rights to control waitress’ weight

Fat shamers win this one. In September, an appeals court upheld a dismissal of a lawsuit filed by Atlantic City waitresses who claimed they faced sexual harassment, hostile work environment, disparate treatment, disparate impact and gender stereotyping from their employer, a casino. The casino had rules that waitresses were not allowed to gain more than 7% of the baseline of their hiring weight, and the court ruled that the appearance mandate was allowed because the women agreed to it before employment. PETA says animals have intellectual property rights

PETA doesn’t monkey around. The animal rights group filed a lawsuit earlier this year arguing that animals can own intellectual property rights. After a monkey took a selfie using a photographer’s camera, the photographer published the image. PETA then took it upon itself to act for the monkey. It sued the photographer and his company for copyright infringement. https://www.jdjournal.com/2015/09/24/monkey-selfie-case-may-set-new-legal-precedent/

PETA has filed a lawsuit against a photographer, alleging that a photograph a macaque snapped should be its own property.
