Law School Specialties Ranking List by Law Street

Summary: See the top five law schools in criminal law, international law, family law and civil rights law based on a ranking system that Law Street uses to judge the programs at each school.

Law Street has released their law school specialty rankings for 2015. With enrollment and applications down, the value a legal education has been questioned. The value of this list allows prospective students to determine what areas they wish to specialize in.

They rank the programs by using a 100-point scale that looks at offered specialty courses for 25 points, number of graduates employed in a specialty for 20 points, proximity to subject-relevant employment centers for 15 points, extracirruclar activities and networking in the specialty for 15 points each, and other rankings published by other sources like College Atlas for 10 points. A program can get bonus points for things like other services, programs, or attributes in the specialty.
