Perkins Coie Adds Two Attorneys to DC Office

Summary: The DC office of Perkins Coie received two new attorneys in its communications practice.

Perkins Coie welcomed two new additions to its Washington DC office today. Marc S. Martin has been made a partner and chair over the firm’s Communications industry practice. Joining him will be Brendon P. Fowler as senior counsel in the Communications practice.

Marc S. Martin

Martin obtained his B.A. from Connecticut College and then attended Syracuse University College of Law and Georgetown University Law Center. Martin specializes in communications and technology law with expertize on regulatory compliance, licensing, procurement, mobile applications, and distribution platforms. The clients Martin has worked with include mobile wireless operators, streaming music providers, online gaming software companies and other entertainment companies. He previously worked as an attorney in the Federal Communications Commission’s Office of Plans and Policy. Martin is a highly regarded and sought after attorney that has been described as an “organized and detail-oriented” proactive advisor, as well as the “Top Washington Lawyer” finalist for Tech Transactions by the Washington Business Journal.

Brendon P. Fowler

Fowler and Martin have worked together previously at both the trial and appellate levels with clients. Fowler received his B.A. from Bowdoin College and attended Duke University School of Law. His specialty is commercial litigation with a focus on telecommunications, transportation, product liability and toxic tort. He represents clients before such state and federal agencies as the Federal Communications Commission and Environmental Protection Agency.
