Giving a high five is not a good way to win over someone during a job interview.

Summary: Here are 6 ways to fail a legal job interview. Avoid all of these unless you want to fail your next interview.

1. When an interviewer gives you a cup of coffee, pour a little onto the floor and say, “For my homeys.”

2. Integrate faux French phrases into your dialogue, such as, “I would say working hard is my etre de flume.

3. Carry your resumé and personal belongings in a handkerchief wrapped around a stick. Lament the fact that riding the rails “ain’t like it used to be.”

4. Tell them that you’re considering a day job but your real passion is your tortoise.
