Steptoe & Johnson Adds Four Partners in Chicago

Summary: Four new partners have been added to the Chicago office of Steptoe & Johnson.

The law firm of Steptoe & Johnson LLP has announced that it is expanding their office in Chicago, according to a press release.

The firm will add to its commercial litigation and toxic tort litigation practices with the addition of four partners.

Burnton comes to the firm with first-chair trial experience. He has represented clients in mass tort, environmental and complex commercial issues. He has argued for clients in federal and state courts during his career.

Frey comes with three decades of experience in consulting clients on issues involving antitrust, contract, bankruptcy, CERCLA private cost recovery actions, securities, insurance and environmental issues.

Smith joins the firm with two decades of experience in epidemiology, toxicology, industrial hygiene and occupational medicine. Smith has argued cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. His practice focuses on defending national and international pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
