Greenberg Traurig Adds Two Shareholders to Mexico City Office

Summary: Greenberg Traurig has announced that two new shareholders have been added to the firm’s office in Mexico City.

Greenberg Traurig LLP announced this week that that Jose Raz Guzman and Miguel Moises joined the firm as shareholders in Mexico City, according to a press release.

Four other associates and four law clerks also joined the firm in Mexico City. Guzman will work as the Managing Shareholder of the office and will work with the founding shareholders of the Mexico City office.

Guzman said, “I am impressed by Greenberg Traurig´s strong global platform, dynamic leadership team and vision for the further development of the Firm’s Mexico practice. Our expertise in banking and finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and real estate will further enhance the Firm’s ability to serve clients in Mexico City.”

Guzman earned his law degree from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and his LL.M. from the University of Virginia.

Moises earned his law degree from Escuela Libre de Derecho and an LL.M. from the University of Chicago.

The office in Mexico City has close to 60 lawyers.
