Top 4 Best Candles

Summary: Today I’m going to share the top 4 best candle brands (in my opinion), whether you just want to try them out or are looking for higher-end varieties.

I was never really a candle person – I didn’t get the point of them. However, after I was at a friend’s apartment I noticed how great her living room smelled and found out it was because of her candle. I started to pay more attention to candles, buying a few cheaper ones and eventually getting nicer and nicer ones as I realized how much I loved them (and how quickly I tend to burn through them). Today I’m going to share the top 4 best candle brands (in my opinion).

  1. If you want to just try out candles and see how you like the effect their smell has, then I’d recommend trying the IKEA candles. These are the ones that I purchased (in vanilla and lavender). They smell great and they were really inexpensive compared to other candles.
  1. The first “nice” candle I ever bought for myself is the Voluspa Japonica Candle Tin, which I found at Anthropologie. The scent I bought is Mokara and was by far my favorite, but they actually have several great scents. And you can reuse the tin when the candle is out!
  1. One of my favorite candles is the Capri Blue Jar Candle in Volcano. I don’t actually own this candle, but one of my best friends does and I am completely in love with it. It smells amazing and because of its size, it lasts a little longer.
  1. The most recent candle I purchased (in a Black Friday sale) is Bijou. I bought the Rose & Currant candle and it smells amazing. I’m already in love. These are my favorite because the base that the wax sits in can be reused as a bowl once the wicks have been used up. You just have to melt out the rest of the wax, clean it off and boom! You have an adorable decorative little bowl.
