Sidley Austin Welcomes Two Partners to Houston Office

Summary: The law firm of Sidley Austin has announced the addition of two partners in the Houston office.

The law firm of Sidley Austin LLP has announced that David B. Denechaud and Joe F. Flack III have joined the firm as partners, according to a press release.

Denechaud will join the Private Equity practice, while Flack will join the Energy practice. Both men will work in the firm’s Houston office.

Denechaud centers his practice around private equity and energy mergers and acquisitions transactions and Flack focuses his practice on oil and gas acquisition and disposition transactions.

“David and Joe have deep first-hand experience assisting private equity and energy clients in navigating a broad range of extremely complex transactions,” said Chris Abbinante, co-global leader of the firm’s Private Equity practice. “They are skilled negotiators and talented lawyers, and we are very excited to welcome them to Sidley.”

The Sidley office in Houston opened back in 2012.
