Blank Rome Welcomes Rick Antonoff to New York Office

Summary: According to a press release, Blank Rome LLP has added Rick Antonoff to the firm’s office in New York City from Clifford Chance .

Rick Antonoff has joined the law firm of Blank Rome LLP as a partner in the Finance, Restructuring and Bankruptcy group, according to a press release.

Antonoff comes to the firm with almost 25 years of experience in bankruptcy law involving cross-border issues and insolvency matters in securitization, structured finance and derivatives. He will work in the firm’s New York office.

Antonoff comes to the firm from Clifford Chance, where he worked in the Financial Restructuring Group.

He represents clients who are ad-hoc committees, unsecured creditors and investors in out-of-court restructuring, bankruptcy proceedings, distressed mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigation and financing.

Regina Stango Kelbon, the co-chair of the firm’s finance, restructuring and bankruptcy group said, “With companies chasing higher returns and increasing their focus on global expansion, Rick’s years of restructuring and cross-border experience will further strengthen the Firm’s resources in New York and provide enhanced capabilities in working with businesses in foreign countries.”

Antonoff earned his law degree from Cardozo Law School. He belongs to the Bankruptcy and Corporate Reorganization Committee of New York City Bar Association. He is also the chair of the Subcommittee on Intercreditor Issues.
