Hogan Lovells Adds Rene Arce Lozano to Monterrey Office

Summary: The law firm of Hogan Lovells has announced that it has added Rene Arce Lozano to its Monterrey office in Mexico.

Rene Arce Lozano has joined Hogan Lovells BSTL, according to a release from the firm.

Lozano will work as a partner in the firm’s International Debt Capital Markets practice and will have five finance associates join him at the firm.

Arce is going to operate in Monterrey, Mexico and will also work in the Mexico City office for the firm. Arce and his associates will begin their work with Hogan Lovells on January 1, 2015. Four of his associates will work in Monterrey and one will work in Mexico City.

Arce centers his practice around mergers and acquisitions, sophisticated financing transactions and general corporate law.

“I am looking forward to joining Hogan Lovells BSTL; the firm’s momentum is quickly amassing across Mexico,” Arce said. “My practice is complemented perfectly by a number of the firm’s well-recognized global practice areas including litigation, energy, and M&A among others.”

Arce earned his law degree from Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey and his LL.M. from the Washington College of Law.

Jim Vassallo: Jim is a freelance writer based out of the suburbs of Philadelphia in New Jersey. Jim earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and minor in Journalism from Rowan University in 2008. While in school he was the Assistant Sports Director at WGLS for two years and the Sports Director for one year.
