Senator-Elect Bob Hertzberg Joins Glaser Weil in California

Summary: Bob Hertzberg, the senator-elect for the Fernando Valley in California, has joined the law firm of Glaser Weil in their Government and Regulatory Law Group.

The law firm of Glaser Weil announced on Thursday that Senator-Elect Bob Hertzberg will join the firm’s Government and Regulatory Law Practice Group, according to LawFuel. The firm is based in Los Angeles.

Hertzberg will serve as Of Counsel to the firm and comes from Mayer Brown LLP , where he worked for the last 12 years.

Prior to Mayer Brown, Hertzberg worked as the Chairman for the Board of The Public Policy Institute of California and for the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation.

Hertzberg is a former Speaker of the State Assembly in California and will represent the San Fernando Valley in the Senate this year.

Hertzberg will work in the law firm’s government affairs practice, which is led by former Beverly Hills mayor Thomas Levyn and former Chief Deputy City Attorney and Chief of Staff to Los Angeles Mayor Jim Hahn, Tim McOsker.

Hertzberg earned his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.
