BakerHostetler Welcomes Eben Clark to Denver Office

Summary: The law firm of BakerHostetler has announced that its Denver office has added counsel in the person of Eben Clark for two departments.

The law firm of BakerHostetler announced via a press release on Thursday that Eben Clark joined the firm as counsel in the Hospitality Industry and Real Estate teams.

Clark will work in the firm’s Denver office and comes from Johnson & Repucci, LLP.

Clark brings more than 10 years of experience handling cases for lenders, developers, county governments, landowners and homeowner’s associations throughout the resort communities in Colorado.

Raymond L. Sutton, the Managing Partner for the Denver office, said, “BakerHostetler is pleased to add someone with Eben’s broad real estate experience to our industry-leading hospitality team. The diversity of his experience in resort projects will help BakerHostetler continue to provide value to our clients in the Rocky Mountain region and nationally.”

John Melicharek, Jr., the firm’s leader of the Hospitality Industry practice, said, “Eben has a unique skill set that helps differentiate our firm, and provides our clients with an expanded knowledge base to draw from. We’re seeing an uptick in hotel and resort acquisitions and development projects across the U.S., and we expect that Eben will provide yet another enhancement to an already strong practice area for BakerHostetler.”

Clark earned his law degree from the University of Colorado Law School and his bachelor’s degree in Political Theory from Columbia College of Columbia University. He belongs to the Colorado Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Pitkin County Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Section Council and the American Resort Development Association.

“I’m excited to join a firm which provides the quality of representation and exceptional responsiveness my clients have come to expect. BakerHostetler will allow me to not only broaden my land use, resort development, and hospitality practice within Colorado, but also expand my resort practice nationally through our Florida and California offices,” said Clark.
