Sidley Austin Welcomes Scott Nonaka to San Francisco Office

Summary: The law firm of Sidley Austin LLP has announced that veteran litigator Scott Nonaka has joined the law firm in its San Francisco office.

It was announced on Thursday morning by Sidley Austin LLP that Scott Nonaka joined the firm in its San Francisco office as a partner, according to a press release. Nonaka will be a member of the firm’s Litigation and International Arbitration practices.

Nonaka centers his practice around international arbitration, cross-border litigation and internal investigations in the United States and in Asia.

“We are delighted to welcome Scott to the team,” said Sara Brody, the leader of Sidley Austin’s Northern California litigation practice. “Scott is an outstanding litigator, whose global litigation experience complements our international capabilities and platform. We look forward to working with him and collaborating in the representation of global companies worldwide.”

Sharon Flanagan, the managing partner of the San Francisco office of Sidley Austin, said, “Scott’s extensive experience working with a range of U.S. and Asia-based companies will benefit the firm’s growing list of global clients. Nonaka has worked as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of California.
