Litigation Support Professionals

This is a job that combines the skills of a paralegal and an IT professional. Litigation support professionals are needed in law firms across the country to help with a litany of tasks, most of which are digital.

The paralegal profession is one of the fastest-growing in the country because attorneys are more and more overwhelmed with work. Salaries for this position continue to increase as paralegals take on more responsibilities at work, take on management roles and have greater autonomy.

Trial Consultants

These professionals are becoming more popular as lawyers need to explain technology to members of juries. Trial consultants help members of a jury understand complex topics using legal technology.

As legal services continue to become more and more expensive, people and companies are beginning to turn to mediators to help resolve disputes. Mediators make a nice salary, but they are not as expensive to use as a lawyer.

Jury Consultant

A jury consultant will work alongside a lawyer for major trials. These professionals are well-versed in juries and know how to analyze juror behavior and thinking. They will also help the lawyer craft opening and closing statements and the arguments to be made during the trial.

Legal Secretaries

Do you enjoy running an office? If so, working as a legal secretary might be an option for you in the legal field. Legal secretaries, also administrative assistants, will help with paperwork, caseload and much more.

Compliance Specialist

A compliance specialist will be employed by companies, firms and other entities simply to monitor their employer’s compliance with new laws and regulations set forth by the government.

Court Reporter

Do you love being in a courtroom, but do not want the stress of being a lawyer? Court reporting is an excellent career path to take. You get to be in the courtroom during trials, hearings, sentencings and arbitration hearings. You are required to record everything that is said in the courtroom in writing so it can be referred to at a later time.
