Thursday Thoughts

1. I cannot say that I’m enjoying unemployment… Some people keep telling me to take advantage of this free time, but that’s not easy when you’re worried about paying your bills and groceries. Plus I constantly feel guilty when I’m not being productive – I’m supposed to go out with friends tonight and I feel like I shouldn’t be having any fun until I get a job! Weird, maybe, but it’s true.

2. Speaking of attempting to be productive, I just opened an Etsy shop! It’s nothing fancy right now (especially since all of the photos are from my iPhone, but I’ve always loved to draw and paint so I bought some supplies and did a few things. Well, my friends encouraged me to open a shop, so I did! Hopefully I’ll get more work up there soon!

3. This weekend I’m heading to Michigan for my friend, Lindsay’s wedding! We’ve been anticipating this for a long time, so I’m excited to see the two of them get married!

4. On a similar note, I’ll be taking the Mega Bus to Michigan on Saturday morning. I’ve never taken it before, but I’ve heard it’s pretty nice (wifi on board!) so I’m hoping it all goes well!

5. I reached out to Quest Nutrition about reviewing some of their products (you all know I’m already obsessed), so they sent me some bars along with their new protein chips! I actually really liked the chips. I don’t normally eat chips since they don’t exactly have any nutritional value, but these have SO much protein! They’re kind of like a light and thin version of a pita chip.

6. Yesterday, around lunchtime, I headed over to my friend Sarah’s apartment to visit her dog, Bennett! I told her I hated feeling so useless and unneeded, so she said visit Bennett – he’ll make me feel very needed! I’m not really a small dog type of person, but this little guy has seriously grown on me.

7. Did you all hear that Gilmore Girls is coming to Netflix?? This is some of the best news I have heard in a long time. I think I’ve watched every episode of that show at least three time, I used to be obsessed! I haven’t seen it in years though, so I’m SO excited for it to come out on Netflix!

8. Have a great Thursday!

What are you up to this weekend?

Are you a big dog person, a little dog person, or just not a dog person?

What’s your favorite kind of chip?
