Lowenstein Sandler Welcomes Shavar Jeffries to the Firm

Summary: The law firm of Lowenstein Sandler has added former Newark, New Jersey mayoral candidate Shavar D. Jeffries to its litigation department.

Lowenstein Sandler has announced in a press release that Shavar D. Jeffries has joined the firm as a partner. He is a former mayoral candidate in Newark, New Jersey and is a law professor at Seton Hall.

Jeffries will represent clients in criminal and civil litigation cases.

Jeffries worked as an Assistant Attorney General and Counsel to New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram from 2008 to 2010.

Gary M. Wingens, the chair and managing partner of the firm, said the following in the release:

Jeffries added the following:

Jeffries earned his BA from Duke University and his law degree from Columbia University.
