Wil Wheaton Tells Young Girl How to Handle Bullies

Summary: Actor Wil Wheaton was asked about being called a nerd while growing up when he was the guest at the Denver Comic Con. His answer will shock and impress you from start to finish.

Actor Wil Wheaton was a guest at the Denver Comic Con. He was part of a discussion panel that took questions from the audience. One question came from a young girl who wanted to know how he handled being bullied as a child.

The question posed was: “When you were a kid were you called a nerd, and if so, how did you deal with it?”

Even though this is a pretty simple and straightforward question, Wheaton’s answer is definitely one for the ages. You have to watch this video and see what he tells the little girl. This is a video that all young people should watch too.

Wheaton concludes his answer to the question with the following:

“There are 50000 people here this weekend who went through the exact same thing and we’re all doing really well. Don’t you ever let a person make you feel bad because you love something they decided is only for nerds. You’re loving things for you. Thank you.”

Let us know your thoughts on Wheaton’s answer and what you would have told the little girl from your own experiences in our comments section.
