DLA Piper Names Todd C. Toral Head of Cross-Border Litigation Practice

The law firm of DLA Piper has announced via a press release this week that Todd C. Toral is the new head of the Cross-Border Litigation practice at the firm. Toral will work with the leadership team that consists of Tara Lee, the global head of the Cross-Border Litigation practice; Jean-Pierre Douglas-Henry, EMEA and Satpal Gobindpuri, Asia-Pac.

Toral is a litigation partner who works in the Los Angeles office of the firm. He has trial experience representing clients in tort, contract, corporate governance, complex financial disputes, counseling and FCPA issues.

DLA Piper was recently recognized for its global litigation practice. It was named by The American Lawyer as having the largest headcount in the world. It was also recognized by The Lawyer for having the most revenue. Acritas recognized the firm for its brand and reputation with multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution.

DLA Piper employs lawyers in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. It boasts the largest group of litigators with courtroom experience surrounding issues with cross-border disputes. The firm has offices in more than 30 countries across the globe with more than 4,200 lawyers.

Jim Vassallo: Jim is a freelance writer based out of the suburbs of Philadelphia in New Jersey.
