Race is still a very touchy topic in the United States today. We can see this fact in a video that has gone viral that discusses when people date out of their race. The video poses the following question: “What is the color of love?”
Various people, from all different races and backgrounds, answer the question in a video that lasts no more than two minutes. The people featured in the video either discuss their opinions and views or the racist comments that they have encountered when dating outside of their race.
The video also talks about sexual stereotypes and other issues that arise in the sex discussion. For a very short video (1:40), it touches on a lot of hot topics across the country today. The ending of the video features the following comments from interviewees:
“I like all races: Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese.
I think you’re about to upset some people.
Do I think black men aren’t sell out because they date white women? Yes.
I kind of like walking my white girl and getting on a … from a black girl.
I just happen to have the opportunity to catch me a nice white girl, well, yeah. When I can, best believe, I will.
Nothing wrong about a little swirl.”
