John M. LeBlanc Joins Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP

The law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP has announced via a press release that John M. LeBlanc joined the firm as a partner in the Los Angeles office. LeBlanc will be a member of the litigation practice and he comes from Barger & Wolen LLP.

LeBlanc’s practice focuses on regulatory issues for the health insurance and managed care industries. He has represented leading insurers in the country, health plans and multiple trade associations within the health insurance industry.

Matt Kanny is the chair of the Litigation practice at the firm. Kanny said the following in the press release: “John’s deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and long track record of achieving outstanding results on behalf of clients is a powerful combination and a perfect fit for Manatt. As implementation of the Affordable Care Act continues, the healthcare industry will face new regulatory challenges. LeBlanc regularly speaks and writes on healthcare regulatory and litigation changes. He belongs to the American Association of Health Lawyers.
