Thursday Thoughts

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all having a good week! I feel like this is the week that just won’t end… I think I just miss my Blends too much! (recap coming soon…). Anyway, on to this week’s Thursday Thoughts!

1. I’m sure you all already knew this, but Molly’s Third Birthday was on Sunday!!! She’s such a big girl now!!!! The photos I posted are from her first day in Chicago to just two weeks ago! I think her head is now bigger than mine…

2. Rain, rain go away, come again another day! Seriously, what is this rain all June thing about!?!? MAKE IT STOP.

3. One of my life-long dreams has been fulfilled: I met the cutest little girl on the internet (who also has way better style than I do, AND the perfect top knot). Brooke was even more adorable in person than I could have imagined, as was little Porter (and Lily, unpictured)! I wanted to steal them both away with me forever, I’m sure their moms wouldn’t have minded…

4. Season 2 of Orange is the New Black is out!!!! My social calendar has been a bit sparse this week, so I’ve been getting in about two episodes a night. Loving it! Well, most of it. Little more nudity than necessary this season…

5. My friend, Alex, just moved down to Michigan avenue and we went to her house for Bible Study this week. She took us up to her rooftop to check out the view and it was so gorgeous!

6. Sometimes I’m ready to leave Chicago (I think I have PTSD from this past winter) and sometimes I just love it too much. So hard!

7. I read about a billion books in the last couple of months, so I think I’m going to put them all into one big book review post for you guys! So many great reads that I want to share.

8. Have a great Thursday!

Do you love where you live, or have you thought about moving?

If you could meet any blogger and/or blogger child, who would you pick? (I want to meet Ashley’s baby boy, Hunter!!!)

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
