Cooley LLP Adds Ellen Scordino in Boston Office

It was announced today via a press release by that law firm of Cooley LLP that Ellen A. Scordino will join the firm in its litigation department. Scordino will also be a member of the intellectual property practice group. She will work as a resident of the Boston office.

Scordino comes from the firm of Fish & Richardson, where her practice centered around patent infringement and counseling.

“Ellen’s addition to our IP litigation team evidences the continuing evolution of our market-leading practice. Not only is Ellen an experienced and well-rounded litigator and counselor, she brings additional depth and breadth in ANDA matters that will be of particular value to our unparalleled roster of life sciences clients,” said Jim Brogan, chair of Cooley’s IP practice.

Scordino earned her B.S. in Chemistry from Trinity College and her law degree from Fordham University School of Law. “Joining Cooley was a natural next step in the evolution of my practice given the firm’s reputation for exceptional work across the full range of IP and life sciences matters, from patent counseling and prosecution through high-level and complex litigation matters,” said Ellen Scordino.
