Thursday Thoughts

Hey everyone! Back with another Thursday Thoughts for you this week! Did you miss them? Haha I kind of did!

1. I haven’t unpacked yet… my suitcase is open and everything is strewn across the floor. I really need this three day weekend to pull my life back together.

2. I got to visit Miss Molly last night! I certainly missed this face while I was gone:

3. I got to the airport in Madrid really early (3.5 hours…) because I was nervous about flying internationally in an airport where I didn’t speak the language. I got through security and checking my bag fairly quickly so I hung out at Starbucks for a while and ate breakfast. I got two different drinks during the time I was there (latte and espresso) and two separate baristas both managed to spell my name horribly, horribly wrong:

4. Guess where I’m going in two weeks? BLEND!!!!! Wooohoooo! I can’t wait to see so many of my blends!!!!

5. I’ve been doing workouts from the Tone It Up Bikini Series and I really like their workouts. They’re easy for me to do at home in the morning, which means I don’t have to get up quite as early to walk to and from the gym. Win, win.

6. Before I left for Europe I decided to get a no-chip manicure so that my nails looked good the entire time I was gone. Guess what? They still look great! I had to cut my nails yesterday because they were too long, but the polish is still going strong!

7. While I was on my flight from Madrid to JFK I watched about a million movies (okay, four). But the first one was Dallas Buyers Club and I thought it was such a great movie. I highly recommend it!

8. Have a great Thursday!

Have you ever gotten a no-chip manicure?

What’s the best movie you’ve seen recently?

I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
