DoTerra

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Easter weekend (or just regular weekend)!

If any of you read Annette’s blog, Fitness Perks, then you’ve probably already heard about DoTerra Essential Oils. If you haven’t, then I’m going to share with you today! I recently became an Individual Product Consultant for DoTerra, which means that I share DoTerra with friends and family (you all are of course my friends!) as well as get rewards for sharing.

I was inspired to try DoTerra after Annette, who is also a consultant, kept raving about them and how they’d help many of my issues, such as stomach problems, fatigue and anxiety. DoTerra is a great company because they use 100% certified pure therapeutic grade (CPTG) oils, which means that they don’t have any fillers, additives or other chemicals in the oils.

I was definitely a little hesitant at first, but I’ve tried other forms of holistic medicine (like acupuncture) that worked well for me, so I thought I’d give it a shot and a few weeks ago I finally made the decision DoTerra consultant. I made this decision happened after one weekend when I went out of town, leaving the few essential oils that I was using behind, and I spent the entire weekend wishing I had them with me!

DoTerra makes tons of products, from single oils, to oil blends, to beauty products, cleaning products, wellness products (like vitamins) and more! I haven’t tried a ton yet since I’m just getting started but my favorites so far are:

Peppermint OilMentha piperita

Peppermint is popular in countless forms, from toothpaste to chewing gum. As an essential oil, it is useful to ease breathing and as a digestive aid*. For aromatic, topical, or dietary use.

*I add a drop of peppermint to a cup of water and chug, within 15 minutes my stomach is already feeling better! 1 drop of this oil is equal to 25+ cups of peppermint tea!

Balance –  Grounding Blend

Everyone experiences moments of disconnectedness or anxiety. The warm, woody aroma of Balance, dōTERRA®’s grounding blend, creates a sense of calm and well-being. We perfectly blend spruce, rosewood, frankincense, and blue tansy with fractionated coconut oil to offer an enticing fragrance which promotes tranquility and a sense of balance. For aromatic or topical use.

SerenityCalming Blend

Stress is a major contributor to illness and disease, in fact, it is estimated that more than 90% of all visits to health care professionals are related to stress. Serenity is a blend composed of individual oils with known calming properties which create a sense of well-being and relaxation. Lavender, sweet marjoram, roman chamomile, ylang ylang, sandalwood and vanilla bean create a subtle aroma ideal for aromatic diffusion or topical application. Applied to the bottom of the feet at bedtime, dōTERRA®’s Serenity is an excellent way to promote restful sleep. Added to a warm bath Serenity creates the perfect escape with its peaceful, renewing fragrance. For topical or aromatic use.

Citrus BlissInvigorating Blend

dōTERRA®’s Citrus Bliss invigorating blend merges the benefits of citrus essential oils. We combine the powerful essences of wild orange, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot, tangerine, and clementine with a hint of vanilla to form this unique and harmonious blend. With benefits that extend beyond elevating mood and reducing stress, Citrus Bliss has natural, potent compounds with cleansing properties. Mixed with water, Citrus Bliss is a perfect solution for disinfecting countertops and other surfaces while emitting a fresh sweet scent. For aromatic or topical, use.

I have more products coming next month, including some personal care products which I cannot wait to try out!

If you’re interested in trying out a DoTerra product, definitely feel free to email me back with questions, or check out my store here: http://mydoterra.com/kathrynwheeler

If you have questions about becoming a consultant and earning some money (and rewards to help pay for your own purchases and wholesale prices), you can also e-mail me and I’ll tell you all about it!
