Atlanta Assistant District Attorney Next Bachelorette on ABC

It was confirmed on Monday night during the “After the Final Rose” special on ABC that the new bachelorette will be Atlanta assistant district attorney Andi Dorfman, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

As tradition goes, the network picked its most compelling person from the previous season of the “Bachelor” who was not picked by the contestant.

Dorfman removed herself from the competition for Juan Pablo Galavis just two weeks following a bad fantasy suite date.

Dorfman, 26, is a gang prosecutor who seems sincere enough when she says she wants to find a husband using the show. She wants to replicate the relationship her parents have.

“I’m looking to find that great love. I have a great life. I just don’t have anyone to spend it with,” she said on the ABC special “After the Rose.” “I love my job but at the end of the day my job is not my priority. I’m ready to find my husband.”

Dorfman was provided an unpaid leave of absence from Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard that runs until May 31 so she can film the show.

Dorfman is a graduate of Louisiana State University and received her law degree from Wake Forest in 2012.

The 10th season of “The Bachelorette” premieres on May 19.
