Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP Announces New Partner Jesse M. Brody to Advertising, Marketing and Media Practice

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips announced March 5, 2014 that Jesse M. Brody has joined them as a partner in the Advertising, Marketing and Media group in their Los Angeles office. Brody comes from Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP, where he was co-chair of the firm’s Gaming practice group and a partner.

Brody focuses on regulatory and legal issues jarring the areas of advertising, technology, new media, entertainment and privacy. He advises clients on matters involving digital and national campaigns, celebrity spokesperson agreements, sweepstakes, sponsorship agreements, social networking and more.

The International Association of Privacy Professionals, have certified him as an information privacy professional. Brody provides strategic compliance counseling on cutting-edge privacy issues. In these digital times of increased calls for transparency, but with more sensitive data and personal data available, privacy is a hot button issue that needs professional and cutting edge care.
