Thursday Thoughts

There are not enough hours in the day. I’m writing this at 9:50pm and I have to wake up in 7 hours. To some of you 7 hours may seem like a lot, but to me it’s really more like 3-4 with how much I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night. This makes no sense. I am tired. You’re welcome that I didn’t edit this in the morning. Random stream of consciousness. Thursday Thoughts:

1. I always seem to have a Junior League meeting of some sort on Wednesday nights, so I’ve started writing my Thursday Thoughts in an email to myself, so that if something pops into my head during the day I can open up the email and write it down, then put it all together quickly before bed. I know, I’m so smart.

2. I think my CamelBak is messing up my teeth. My top front teeth are already separating out from way back when I had braces, and I think drinking out of my camelbak every day was making it worse. I still use it to workout and carry around with me generally, but at work all day I now use a handy dandy cup they provided for me.

3. When it rains, it pours. Speaking of library books, obviously. I’ve been on the waiting list for several ebooks for MONTHS. And guess what? ALL of them became available to me this week. Time to get reading.

4. This needs to stop. Now.

5. I have a couple training sessions I have to go to for my temp job, which take place down in Hyde Park (neighborhood down on the south side for you non-Chicagoans). It is SO PRETTY. I love getting to go down there every once in a while.

6. I’m almost done with another “Pinterest Outfits Made Affordable” post, however for the next one I’d really like to do a reader request! If you have an outfit you’ve pinned and you’d like to see me recreate it, please link to it in the comments or e-mail me at peaceloveandoats@gmail.com. I can’t guarantee that I’ll pick your outfit, but I will select one! Well… if anyone sends any.

7. Don’t forget to enter the Suave Sweepstakes that ends tomorrow!

8. Have a good Thursday!

Do you have an outfit you’d want to see me recreate?

What do you drink out of during the day? (other than a wine glass…)

Anything you’re thinking right now. GO:

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
