Pizza Hut Manager Can Be Seen on Video Relieving Bladder in the Restaurant’s Kitchen Sink

A southern West Virginia Pizza Hut has been temporarily shut down by health officials. Huffington Post has reported that the Mingo County health department ordered the Pizza Hut closed after the restaurant’s district manager was caught on surveillance video urinating into a sink.

The Pizza Hut, about 85 miles southwest of Charleston, in Kermit, has reportedly fired the employee. His name was not released. Pizza Hut Corp. released a statement saying it was “embarrassed” by the manager’s actions. The company says it has “zero tolerance” for violations of its operating standards. Pizza Hut reported that the incident took place after business hours. The Pizza Hut manager can be seen on video security footage relieving his bladder in the restaurant’s kitchen sink.

Brett Vance, City health official has stated that the restaurant is closed until it is thoroughly cleaned and there are reassurances of safeguards in place. Vance told the Daily News there is currently no set date for reopening, but sanitation would be necessary before the restaurant could open up for business again.
