Boca Raton Law Firm Represents Only Men

The law firm of Kenny Leigh and Associates, located in Boca Raton, represents only men. Some people say that it is discriminatory practices and others say that it is sexist, according to WPTV.

But those working at the firm say that it gives men a fair shot during divorce and family law cases.

“It’s pretty clear that the firm is focused on men’s rights only and we only represent men,” said attorney Temi Zeitenberg. Zeitenberg is the head of the office, which opened back in April in Boca Raton.

“A lot of courts have leaned toward the mother. And it is not supposed to be that way. Fathers want a fair shake,” attorney Stefani Nolan said, who works for the firm, which has other offices in the state of Florida.

The office in Boca Raton is working towards hiring more attorneys as it plans to expand.

“Sometimes we get a mixed reaction when we tell people. Some people think it is discriminatory for that we dislike women which is absolutely not the case,” Zeitenberg said.

The firm advertises in Boynton Beach along I-95 and it gets noticed by the public. The attorneys working at the firm say that this type of representation is critical because not a lot of dads get equal time to with their children following a divorce.

“For them to have every other weekend with their children is hurtful. Why should someone say you can only see your child every other weekend, but mom gets to have him the rest of the time,” Nolan said.

The attorneys said that they do not have to think like a man because they only represent men.

“I think it is comforting for a man to know that I can see or envision what their wife or the mother of their child may be thinking. I can help them understand how we can steer their case in their favor, but not go too far,” Zeitenberg said.

The law firm noted that if the success keeps going, they might need to expand to other cities in the state.
