New Details Emerge in Murder Trial of Joanna Dennehy

Joanna Dennehy pleaded guilty in November to the murder of three men. Now, new info has been released about the killings by the British woman, according to The Huffington Post.

Dennehy admitted to stabbing the men in the heart and then dumping their bodies in ditches in Cambridgeshire.

She had accomplices, who are now on trial. They have been identified as Leslie Layton and Gary ‘Stretch’ Richards.

Georgina Page, a friend of Dennehy, testified that Dennehy compared herself and Richards to Bonnie and Clyde. She also ‘jumped around like a schoolgirl’ when she saw news reports about the murders.

On Monday, photos of Dennehy, Layton and Richards were shown in court. The photos show the three posing with each other. Dennehy is holding a large knife and handcuffs in one of the photos. Another photo Dennehy is showing her bra and self-harm cuts on her stomach.

Mark Lloyd, a witness, was in the car with Dennehy and Richards when they attacked two men on a street in April. The duo was already wanted for the murder of the three men when this attack occurred.

According to Lloyd, Dennehy flirted with him before he entered the car. Once he did, Dennehy admitted to the three murders and Lloyd had to go along for the ride so Dennehy could have her ‘fun.’

Lloyd said that Dennehy told Richards “I want my fun. I need you to get my fun.”

The victims of Dennehy include her landlord and two more men. In court, Lloyd said that the attacks in April were on men walking their dogs who were chosen randomly.

“She [Dennehy] takes a knife out of her left pocket with her right hand. She strikes him like in the film Psycho, just like that. Thrusting and putting her whole weight behind it… Gary is seeing exactly what I’m seeing and there’s just no emotion from him at all.”
