San Diego-based Gordon & Rees is honoring two partners of the firm by adding their names to the firm’s name. Henceforth, Gordon & Rees would now be known as Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP
Recognizing the contributions of Scully and Mansukhani, Managing Partner, Dion Cominos said “Being among the fastest-growing firms in the country doesn’t happen by accident … and contributors like Miles and Roger have helped us achieve our goal of building a national platform to service clients throughout the country in a cost-effective and responsive fashion.”
Explaining their success, Mansukhani said that client service, winning and responsiveness carries the day and allows Gordon & Rees to distinguish itself from the rest. He said, “So many firms are closing their doors, but clients remember those who answer the phone, give good advice and get superior results.”
Scully said he was sure that the firm would rank in the top 10 in the next 10 years. He said, “Clients want good quality and good value and we have heard them. When you give clients what they want, growth is inevitable.”
Gordon & Rees is the second biggest law firm in San Diego, and it is a rare event where name-partners are inducted from within a big law firm, rather than being inducted through mergers. Though the name change would be official, the law firm will continue with its market brand as Gordon & Rees. The name change would be reflected in documents and formalities.
