Kaley Cuoco Weds on New Year’s Eve

One of the stars of the hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory” celebrated the New Year by tying the knot. Kaley Cuoco and tennis pro Ryan Sweeting exchange vows on New Year’s Eve in California, according to various media outlets and Cuoco’s Instagram page.

Sweeting proposed to Cuoco on September 25 after the couple dated  for just three months. The wedding for the couple also doubled as a holiday party since it had a fire-and-ice theme.

The maid of honor was Cuoco’s sister, Briana Cuoco. Kaley sported a pink dress for the wedding and looked stunning.

Kaley appeared on Ellen back on November 7 and told everyone the story of how she and Ryan first met. She then proceeded to explain the couple’s first date and how the couple became so close so quickly.

“It’s newer, it’s newer. I know it’s looked a little crazy to some people,” the actress said. ”I had kind of an interesting situation over the summer and I was kind of in a weird place and a very close mutual friend of ours said, ‘Oh my God, have you met this guy Ryan?’ I was just not in a good place to meet anyone. I said I’m not ready, I’m taking time away from love for a while, I was very sad. And they said, you know, he’s coming to town and you’ve got one date, meet him, have a drink, meet him, meet him. I was putting it off and really nervous about it and just not wanting to do this.”

“So they gave him my number and he texted me and he’s like, ‘I’m coming to L.A.,’” she continued. “So now I’m like, ‘So now I have to see this guy, do I have to hang out with him all weekend, he’s going to be here for days, and effort and this whole thing.’ So, we go and have a dinner date and we’re still on our first date, he never went home.”
