Justin Bieber Gives Up Music Career?

Pop star Justin Bieber is young, hot, single and ready to retire from the music business, according to TMZ. During an appearance at Power 106 in Los Angeles he leaned into the microphone and said, “Uh, I’m actually, uh, retiring man . . . I’m probably going to quit music.”  Wearing black sunglasses, he sounded a little hung over. Radio personalities and entertainment insiders think the whole idea is an attention-getting hoax, but one of Bieber’s friends said, “The kid’s got ambition.”

After appearing last week at The Laugh Factory, Bieber may believe he’s got comedy chops, but some people disagree. After several super successful albums, music nominations and wins, a movie and other musical collaborations, is Justin Bieber serious about retiring? He has been in the business since he was thirteen years old, and maybe the kid or young man needs a break from the spotlight, especially with the recent, somewhat negative publicity he’s been getting by the media.

If he does indeed retire at the young age of nineteen, thousands of fans will have their hearts crushed. However, being a fan of someone means you support their choices. So good luck Justin Bieber. Try not to stay away too long, because you will always be welcomed back with open arms.  Beliebers everywhere may have only one Christmas wish this year – for their favorite pop heartthrob not to give up music. His new album Journals will be released on December twenty-third.
