George Zimmerman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery, after GF Samantha Schiebe claimed he pulled a shotgun on her and pushed her out of their house. Zimmerman was arrested on November 18 at Scheibe’s Apopka, Florida home after the two had a heated fight. Samantha has now changed her story and wants to mend the relationship with George. Schiebe said in a sworn statement she did not want to pursue the case. She says that she lied about what happened and will not cooperate with authorities. Without a witness willing to testify, the prosecutors had no other choice but to drop all charges that were pending.
George Zimmerman has just caught another break. The ex-girlfriend who says that he beat her and pointed a shotgun in her face has recanted her story and the case has been dropped by prosecutors. “When I was being questioned by police, I felt very intimidated,” she said. “I was not allowed to call an attorney nor was I allowed to eat or drink anything for a very long time.” Schiebe reported to CNN.
There is still something blocking these lovebirds from reuniting though — a restraining order, which Samantha’s lawyer is now trying to get lifted. George Zimmerman’s latest brush with the criminal-justice system ended on Wednesday, when State Attorney Phil Archer has announced that Zimmerman will not face charges in a domestic incident last month. He will not be charged in a domestic dispute. TMZ reports, that in a nutshell, the bottom line is … “because she’s fickle, George is out of a pickle.”
