Bruce Willis Helps Firefighters Protect Idaho

Bruce Willis has kept his homestead in Idaho for several decades. As the Beaver Creek wildfire spreads towards Sun Valley Idaho, Die Hard Actor Willis is helping however he can.

According to E!, the massive fire in Idaho is “a little too close to home.” Firefighters have been working nonstop to control and contain the fire. The location happens to be where ex-wife Demi Moore lived with Willis until their divorce. 57 year old Willis recently became a daddy for the fourth time with his wife Emma Heming. The star owned a nightclub in Hailey, Idaho as well as a ski resort in Fairfield Idaho. After unsuccessful attempts to sell the resort, Willis donated it to the town.

Willis commented that he was happy that the community cared about the future of Soldier Mountain Ski Area. He wished them the best. The famous Sun Valley Idaho area is home to celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tom Hanks, as well as Lucille Ball, and author Ernest Hemingway.

Bruce Willis has planned to help out and support the men and women who are firefighters and first responders, helicopter and airplane pilots and support staff who risk their lives battling the fire. He comments, “like all of my fellow Idaho residents, I want to extend my most sincere and grateful thanks to [those] who risked life and limb to battle the horrific Beaver Creek fire in Idaho.”

The ‘With a Vengeance’ actor will be providing lunch and dinner as well as catered donations. He thanked those who respond during the emergencies that threaten the forest as well as people’s lives. “You are the men and women who put your lives at risk to protect ours on a daily basis, but it is at moments like these that your heroism comes to the forefront of our nation’s consciousness. On behalf of me and my family, please know that there will never be enough words to express our deepest appreciation for your ever-present dedication and bravery.”
