The NBA star of the Dallas Mavericks and husband to Khloe Kardashian has a substance abuse problem. Piece by piece the rumors have no come together and have been corroborated with stories and testimonies from anonymous sources. TMZ has pieced together a variety of reports.
In March of 2012, a hotel room that Lamar stayed in showed kinds of carpet burns specifically “quarter-sized burn marks.” The damaged room caused the hotel to completely replace the room’s carpeting. Hotel employees at the Westin, where Lamar stayed also found white powder on the desk. The hotel room also was filled with and smelled of a “noxious smoke.”
Several hotel employees across different hotels in various cities have complained about the rooms that Lama had stayed in. It seems that he had completely wrecked the place. While the NBA star was playing for the Lakers, similar happenings occurred in Memphis. An anonymous source commented that the Mavericks had knowledge of Lamar’s substance abuse problems while he played for them.
Another anonymous source claims that no one on the Mavericks team know that Lamar had a substance abuse problem, although people had their suspicions and knew that something was up. A source told TMZ that during the period when Lamar was playing for the Mavericks, at least for some time, he was smoking Oxycontin and cocaine. Lamar was cut from the team “mid-season and paid in full just so he would go away.” At this point, a source confirms that Lamar is using crack-cocaine and his use is so bad that it’s life threatening.
