Oh Hey!

Psssst.

Anyone there?

I’m baaaaaaaack!

So my “break” from blogging extended a little further than I’d anticipated, mostly because my “break” wasn’t really a break at all, and I needed some time to relax, which basically just turned into apartment hunting and then starting job hunting. I’m not good at relaxing I guess…

My time off from blogging got me thinking about a few things, including whether or not I’d return at all. I love this community, I love the friendships and connections I’ve made, and I love the opportunities I’ve been given. I was actually surprised, however, that I didn’t miss blogging at all. It was just one more added pressure that I did not need hanging over my head, and with the stress of a possibly very long job search ahead, I’m not sure how to handle adding it back in.

I have a feeling that if I do continue, things will probably change, although I’m not sure how just yet. I’m thinking that for now I’m just going to write about what I want and when I want. Haha, very selfish sounding, no? But hey, it’s my space and my time, and hopefully you will all still like it! I realize this train of thought isn’t actually going anywhere… but I feel like you’re all my friends so I just wanted to share my thoughts.

Now, an update on my life!

The Bar Exam was, well, an experience. Probably one of the most difficult and stressful things I’ve ever gone through in my life. Not only is the workload pretty much impossible, but the pressure is almost unbearable. Buuuuut you all don’t want to hear about that. Instead, today I’ll share a few of the photos that I took while trying to stay sane, and some of the better moments to catch you all up on my life!

Lots and lots of studying and coffee:

A few Molly sanity breaks:

WAY too many selfies – my poor friends. Thankfully, due to snapchat, you aren’t subjected to too many…

And a few during/post studying happy moments:

I definitely wouldn’t have survived without a lot of great friends, family, and appreciating the little things! SO EXCITED to be normal again! Haha, have a great day everyone!

What did I miss? What are your highlights from the past two months?

What’s one little thing you’ve appreciated today?

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
