Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson Hire David Greenwald as Co-Chair

David Greenwald has been hired into a leadership role at Fried Frank. Greenwald was formerly a deputy general counsel at Goldman Sachs. He now has been brought aboard Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, and will serve as co-chair along with current chair Valerie Ford Jacob. Mr. Greenwald worked at Fried Frank on M&A and private equity work before joining Goldman, according to NewYorkLawJournal.com. At GS he was the deputy general counsel and international general counsel.

On returning to Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, David Greenwald commented that Valerie Ford Jacob has grown the firm under her leadership and that the firm is “well positioned for strong performance going forward.” He also notes that he looks forward to coming home and being a strong contributor to the success of the firm. “It is an exciting time to come home,” Greenwald commented.
