Chicago-based law firm SmithAmundsen LLC recently opened an Indianapolis office, expanding both the scope of services and the geographic presence offered by the firm. The new office is anchored by five former Stewart & Irvin attorneys who have been brought in as the firm’s intellectual property team. The Indianapolis office will be the firm’s seventh office in the Midwestern United States.
Glen Amundsen, the Chairman of SmithAmundsen’s executive committee announced that Constance Lindman, Dennis Schell, and Eric Lamb have joined the firm as partners, and will be based out of the new Indianapolis office. They will be supported by Alyssa Rogers, a corporate attorney, and Suzanne Newcomb, a labor and employment specialist.
“We are pleased to add Connie, Dennis, Eric, Alyssa, and Suzanne to our growing team of 150-lawyers as part of our commitment to better serve our regional and national clients,” said Amundsen.
Lindman, Schell, and Lamb bring more than forty combined years of experience to SmithAmundsen in the field of patents, trademarks, and intellectual property.

In addition to these recent hires, SmithAmundsen also announced that they are actively recruiting experienced attorneys to join their Indianapolis office, specifically attorneys that practice in labor and employment, banking, commercial litigation, and general corporate and business services.
