Mintz Levin Adds New Member to Corporate & Securities Section

The law firm of Mintz Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo P.C has brought on respected transactional attorney Andrew Nagel as a member of their New York City office. Mintz Levin has been aggressively expanding this year, and Nagel is the latest top-tier hire made by the firm.

Nagel joins Mintz Levin from WilmerHale, where he was a partner. His experience includes a heavy focus in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, restructurings, activist shareholder matters, capital markets, and corporate governance. He has represented investment banks, hedge funds and private equity firms, and companies in a diverse range of industries, from life sciences and technology to broadcasting and manufacturing. Nagel earned his J.D. from University of California, Berkeley.

“Mintz Levin is clearly a firm on the move on both coasts,” said Nagel. “It has made a strong commitment to continuing to build a broad-based corporate practice that services clients at all phases of the corporate life cycle. The firm’s diverse platform will enable me to offer expanded services to existing and new clients. I am excited about working with my new partners to build upon the firm’s recent growth and long-standing success.”

“Andrew is a first-rate talent and an ideal addition to our growing corporate practice, both here in New York and nationally,” said Stephen J. Gulotta, Jr., Managing Member of Mintz Levin’s New York office.
