VIDEO: Reese Witherspoon’s Drunken Antics Obstructing Justice

Drunken celebrities are the most annoying breed of celebrity, so be forewarned that this video portrays a peevish and obnoxious Reese Witherspoon doing all she can in her drunken state to contest an officer from arresting her husband for a DUI.

Reese left the vehicle and got in the officers’ face, exclaiming, “Do you know my name sir?”

“Don’t need to know,” he says,

“You don’t need to know my name?”

“Not quite yet.”

“You’re about to find out who I am!” she shouted. She’s mother-effing Reese Witherspoon, bitches!

When told to return to the car, she said, “I’m an American citizen … I’m allowed to stand on American ground. You better not arrest me! I’m being anti-American?”

“Yes, please sit down.”

“Wow,” says Reese in consternation, “You’re harassing me as an American citizen.”

She also was floored that she was arrested. “I’m obstructing your justice?” she demands to know.

Later, a sheepish Reese told Good Morning America that “We thought we were fine to drive, and we were absolutely not, and we are so sorry and embarrassed. We know better and we shouldn’t have done that,” vowing also that “it was something that will absolutely never happen again.”

“I was disrespectful to him,” she said. “I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It’s just so unacceptable,” and she also added that “I played a lawyer in a movie so many times I think I am a lawyer. And clearly I’m not a lawyer, because I got arrested,” a non sequitur if I ever heard one.

She says that telling her older children about the incident was “the hardest part about it. When you make a mistake, you take responsibility, and we are taking responsibility, and we are doing everything within our power to make it right.” Of course she is. Don’t you know who she is?
