Thursday Thoughts

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all having a good week! Mine is good but busy, lots of classes, work to be done and appointments. I have to be honest, I’m getting nervous about finals starting next week! I think I’m mostly nervous about my motivation to study very much… Number one goal: PASS. Ah stressing me out, okay, let’s move on to Thursday Thoughts so I can stop thinking about finals…

1. Thank you for all your comments on my post Tuesday. I saw a lot of you could relate and many of you found it helpful. I’ve certainly found it helpful, even just over the past week!

2. This picture was included in my One Word Wednesday post yesterday, but I had to add a few more words. THESE ARE SO GOOD. We all know I’m a fan of Quest Bars but I’m so excited that I finally got to try the cookie dough flavor everyone has been raving about!

3. This weekend starts my kickball league! I joined a kickball league with Emily, we have a game every weekend for 8 weeks. I’m excited because Chicago has a ton of these leagues and I’ve always wanted to try one!

4. The fact that my building even needed to post this warning concerns me:

5. Tomorrow is my last day of class. My very last day of class ever. EVER. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Oh and of course I have class from 10am to 5:50pm. Gotta go out with a bang.

6. My brother and sister-in-law sent me a couple pictures of Molly in her old Halloween costume. I died. (she’s a frog).

7. It has been so hot here in Chicago that I wore shorts to school one day, a sundress and sandals another day and I seriously should have put my AC unit in my window… I’d do it now but it’s cooling down again… Anyway, I LOVE IT. LOVE. I am totally a warm weather person.

8. This photo from our race on Sunday had me cracking up. Kelsey was totally trying to steal my thunder. I must intimidate her…

I can’t think of any questions today… What are your thoughts on my thoughts? Haha.

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
