Lindsay Lohan Fails to Comply with her Rehab Deal

Anybody who narrowly escaped 90 days in jail for a pleasure cruise through rehab might be grateful and graceful with the situation – anybody, that is, but Lindsay Lohan. We have come to expect this hysterical melodrama she’s caused in every step of her odious plight against the law. She’s been approved to enter Seafield Center rehab facility in Westhamptom Beach, New York, as TMZ reported, but the mere prospect sent her into “hysterical tears,” as her dad reported to RadarOnline, and she hopped a jet to California to escape a fate worse than death: Seafield doesn’t allow smoking.

The clinic in California does allow cigarette smoking – so she’s in a better place now, apparently. Except this second clinic was never approved, and now all the lawyers and judges must convene and discuss if Lohan’s latest stunt is permissible. She has, technically, violated the deal to begin her rehab on a set date at a set location. She could technically be thrown into jail for 90 days. Why isn’t this happening?

Lohan’s lawyer, Mark Heller, arranged for Lohan to enter the Morningside Recovery clinic in Newport Beach, California; and he will be discussing matters in a Los Angeles court Thursday.

Simply complying with the stipulations of her rehab agreement were a bit too much for her, but perhaps the court will curry her a favor and let her again do whatever she wants. What better way to straighten out one’s behavior than acting like a spoiled brat and getting away with it?
