Thursday Thoughts

Hey everyone! I hope you are all having good weeks, and remember the weekend is almost here! I loved your comments on my What I (didn’t) Eat Wednesday post yesterday (yes, there are some grammar issues in that title). It was interesting to hear your perspectives! Today, however, is Thursday and you know what that means: THURSDAY THOUGHTS! I love Thursday Thoughts. Can you tell? Let’s get to it…

1. Is this not the best computer background ever? Trust me, it is.

2. Speaking of Molly, she is my brother’s TSA agent for packages. She must sniff every single bag/package/person that walks into their apartment. So far she has a perfect record.

3. Danica at It’s Progression wrote a great post about breaking up with the scale. If anything, scroll down and read the last paragraph in bold! Great words, well said.

4. I FINALLY found a good chiropractor here in Chicago, hopefully she’ll be able to work with my wonky hips and get this IT band issue under control!

5. Kelsey left me for the weekend. So rude. I don’t even want to talk about it.

6. Luckily I’m getting lunch and froyo with CHELSEY!!! I haven’t seen this girl since our wild and crazy sushi night, so I am more than excited to see her and her pregnant babies bump! Yes, babies, plural.

7. I was a little too excited that my outfit at the gym on Wednesday morning perfectly matched my weights. And no, I did not do this on purpose.

8. I have one final thing to leave you with today, PLEASE watch this video from Dove about how we see ourselves. It’s only a couple of minutes but it’s so interesting and thought provoking (BTW I wrote this post before a bunch of people blogged about this video yesterday… so I apologize for repetition)

Did you watch the video? What did you think?

What’s your computer background?

Would anyone like to borrow Molly to check your packages?

Kathryn Wheeler: My name is Katie and I moved to Chicago in 2010 for law school and graduated in May 2013. I'm originally from Kansas City, MO and I did my undergrad at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. I started this blog in August of 2011 because I needed a creative outlet and I wanted to write about my life in a way that other women could relate to and realize that they aren’t alone in many aspects of their lives.
