Thursday Thoughts

Hey everyone! It’s THURSDAY! Aka basically my Friday, so I’m a happy camper! Although I plan to spend my entire Friday getting as much school work done as possible… so that’s fun. Not. Anyway, let’s get on to this week’s Thursday Thoughts so I can distract you all for another 5 minutes until the weekend comes!

1. Did I mention that LAST Thursday I had the pleasure of trying out Taco Joint (the newer one on Ontario for you Chicagoans) with Lindsay and Kelsey? Um it was amazing, and even more amazing since I got to hang out with those two. I may have completely lost my voice by the end of the evening. It was also intuitive eating in full force and I loved every minute (and margarita) of it.

2. Soooo IT band pain is back, as is hip pain, although now my left hip hurts instead of my right… really??? It’s like they just keep swapping injuries. Thanks legs and hips.

3. I have a super busy Saturday coming up. I’ve got the Muddy Monk Double Down 10K trail race, then Chicago HLB Book Club, then… law school prom. Well, it’s called the Barrister’s Ball, but let’s be honest, it’s law school prom. No, I don’t have a date (because I know you’ll ask), I was convinced to go by a couple friends of mine. I think I’m getting nostalgic…

4. Speaking of book club, the book this month is The Life You’ve Imagined by Kristina Riggle. If you read the book and reviewed it, send me your review or a link to your blog review by 6am this Monday. You can, however, send it later and I’ll add you in.

5. I thought this was an interesting article by Taylor at Lifting Revoltion about why you’re not getting stronger. I feel like this has been me for the past 2 years… Haha so I had to click and check out her tips!

6. BABY HUNTER WENT HOME!!! I’m so excited for Ashley, she finally got to take her little boy home from the hospital! AND, Annette shared some exciting news this week! Seriously, I’m considering a fake pregnancy announcement post just to stay trendy in the HLB world…

7. Okay, 1) how do I have 397 instagram followers?? (trust me, I’m not that cool, it must be Molly) and 2) Who wants to make it 400?!?

8. I’ve become a bit obsessed with making images for pinterest from quotes. I saw this quote last night and it really struck me, so what did I do? I turned it into an image and pinned it. And yes, I use all my own personal pictures (and picmonkey) for doing these.

And here’s another one (not my own) for those of you who’d prefer a quote without religious undertones, but still equally thought provoking:

Have a great Thursday!

When was the last time you went out for tacos? Or a girls night with friends?

Are you a big instagram user?

What’s a quote I should make an image out of (e-mail me for any personal requests, I love making these!)
